What it is
A complete website template for a photographer, illustrator, designer or maker whose work has to be looked at before it is explained. Four pages: home, work, about, contact.
The work page is built as a gallery that survives pictures of different shapes, which is where most portfolio layouts fall over. Landscape, portrait and square sit in the same grid without one of them being cropped into something it is not.
The about page is deliberately plain and short. It is there so that somebody who has decided they like the work can find out who made it and how to ask about it, not to compete with the work for attention.
Character of the layout. Pictures edge to edge, type small and quiet, headings used sparingly. The gallery is the design.
The pages you get
- 01Home
- 02Work
- 03About
- 04Contact
4 pages, and that count is what the item is sold as. Every page arrives empty of words and pictures.
Replace text and pictures, hide what you do not need
You change the words and the pictures, and you can switch off any section you have nothing to put in. The pages are built so that a missing section leaves no hole behind it.
No code is written at any point. The work happens in the Framer editor, in your own account.
- A Framer remix link that opens all four pages in your own Framer account
- A PDF setup guide covering the remix, the pictures, the gallery and publishing
- A licence document naming what the purchase allows
- No pictures are supplied: the gallery is empty and waiting for yours
- No shop, print sales or checkout
- No client area or password-protected page
These are stated limits, not faults. They are printed here before you buy rather than discovered afterwards.
What this page says is what you are buying. The number of pages, what is delivered with the item and what it deliberately does not do are the description of it, not advertising around it, and the number above is exact rather than an approximation. If anything here turns out to describe the item inaccurately, that is our mistake and your remedy: the Refund & Cancellation page says what follows from it.
